Santiago, February 13, 2026.- Cencosud today announced the appointment of Gastón Lo Russo as Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer (CSTO), a position he will assume on March 16, 2026, reporting directly to the Company’s CEO, Rodrigo Larraín. His role will be based in Argentina, with global scope and responsibility.
In this position, he will oversee the management of Cencosud’s strategic and transformation agenda, working cross-functionally with teams across the different countries and business units. His work will focus on strengthening monitoring and governance mechanisms, promoting consistent and aligned execution throughout the organization, in line with the vision of consolidating a single Cencosud ecosystem across all countries and business units, and driving sustainable growth in every market where the Company operates.
Gastón Lo Russo brings a distinguished track record in senior leadership roles at multinational consumer goods companies, leading operations across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. This experience has enabled him to develop a global perspective and strong management capabilities in complex, multicultural environments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica Argentina and an MBA from IDEA Business School.
