To whom it may concern,

In accordance with articles 9 and 10 of Law No. 18.045 of the Securities Market and as provided in the General Norm No. 30 of the Financial Market Commission ("CMF"), and in compliance with what was requested in the Ordinary Official Letter No. 93389 dated October 18, 2023, through this letter, we come to supplement the information published through Essential Fact on October 17 and 18, 2023 by Cencosud S.A., hereinafter "Cencosud" or the "Company", in the following sense:

In an extraordinary session of the Board of Directors of Cencosud held on this same date, Mr. Renato Gutiérrez González has been appointed as the General Manager of the Company, who will assume his duties on an interim basis as of this date. Mr. Gutiérrez will also continue in his position as Corporate Manager of Management Control of the Company.

Likewise, in compliance with the provisions of article 89 of the Regulation of Corporations, the board ratified the appointment of Mr. Sebastián Rivera Martínez to act in the absence of the Manager, validly representing the Company in all notifications made to him.
